I am one of those guys that has done a little bit of everything in the first 37 years of my life. I was born and raised in Beaumont, Texas USA. I have always been a fan of NHRA and IHRA Drag Racing. I always wanted to be a race car driver. I have always been a fan of video games. I grew up playing our Atari 2600, NES and Sega. In 2007 a the ripe old age of 32 I decided to be more active and what better way to do that then to start running. It was cheap as far as equipment needed. There was a Hike & Bike Trail basically in my backyard. Travel and expenses to go to a destination running event had less cost involved then to attend a drag racing event (fuel, upkeep, hotels, time off work, etc add up with the race car). Once I started running… it hurt… I was sore… I realized it was not as easy as I thought it was… but I realized it was also fun. And I met some great new people/friends along the way. I am not fast. I am not in the best of shape. I am just an average guy with a regular job who learned that he likes to run.
